Lost In The Sound Of Silence, Pt. II

As snow and ice melted soon after, it left me behind in emptiness. Emptiness almost strong enough to even let loneliness vanish. I miss those cold days of winter when everything around fell asleep quietly. Among the quiet whispering of the trees, my pondering silence no longer mattered.
As written in the previously published first part of this series, I visited this particular forest in winter again, about two years after my series 'Where All My Limbs Will Become Trees' (which has been updated slightly a few days ago). Nonetheless of two years passing by, it doesn’t feel like that. Some trees may stall, but it seems timeless to wander by. Actually, I think it is timelessness I’d like to be able to capture with this setting of bare trees, covered in snow. I have the belief that this timelessness is strangely connected to loneliness. Therefore, and beside from a third collection of images upcoming, some selected images maybe should be displayed only on their own in order to unfold properly. So far, I’m not quite sure about the concept but will think about it.
